Today we have reached an important milestone. WideCircles v2.0 has been released to everyone. The new version of the system adds many new marketing groups / channels. It also features per group pricing method, variable driven settle in times and allows you to buy marketing credits directly with credit card on our merchant gateway without using paypal.

Publishers and operators have also recieved enhanced portals that allow them to manage trusted forums, task type subscriptions, payments and more.

However, more importantly, this version introduces extensible architecture which will allow us to add many more task types and groups with time to come. If you are unsure about something, please contact us and our fanatical support team will try to answer your questions in a quick manner.

We are currently testing new widecircles v2.0 system with limited set of publishers and advertisers that were invited to our new program. We are now underway for the full release of the system, that will be made available to everyone by Oct 3 2008. This is the final date. Please note that if you are existing advertiser, your credits will transfer in full to the new system. For the publishers the payments will also automatically transfer to the new system.

We have been delayed with our rollout of the v2.0 system as it turned out to be far more time consuming in implementation then we originally envisioned ( after going through several revisions ). However we have finished our implementation and are now in the final testing stages and preparation to transition to the new platform in the upcoming week. Very soon you may recieve a notice that system will be down for 24 hour period during the upgrade phase. We will correctly carry over all the credits and payments from the old system as well as the account data.

Also you may notice less posting tasks as we are transitioning towards the upgrade. Do not be alarmed by this, we will be back in full capacity after the upgrade. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us. Finally there has been a story going that we had authorized agents in other countries representing us. This is not the case, we have up to this date not authorized anyone to act on our behalf. You should be very careful when talking with these kinds of people as we are not to be held liable in any way.
