Important Update

without comments

Attention WideCircles Publishers And Group Account Operators,

As you may know WideCircles has recently partnered with another large online advertising
entity and has gone through a phase of major system upgrades including our data facility.

New version of WideCircles has sligthtly been delayed and will be officially launching
sometime in Nov/Dec of 2009. We will be featuring many new advertising groups including our
unique Social Advertising Evolved marketplace.

Until then we have corrected our payment cycle and improved the ad task queue. Due to
the amount of available advertisers we can now officially guarantee that ad task queue
will remain full at all times ( 24/7 ), meaning new posting tasks will continually come in.
The payments will always be sent to everyone on the 15′th and last day of the month ( every
2 weeks ) assuming they have reached their payout thresholds. Payments can be collected
via PayPal, MoneyBookers or Western Union.

Additionally if you have your own website lists of where you would like to be posting,
please submit them to us for review and inclusion into one of our marketing groups. Please
remember that we only can accept text files, with one website per line.

For any other questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us at any time as
we are here to help you.

Thank you.

Trusted Forum Member Auto Notifications Introduced

without comments

Publishers registered as trusted forum members will now receive automatic email notifications whenever new trusted tasks are created or posted by our advertisers. The registered publishers or trusted forum members should then react asap on those tasks and fulfill them. These types of tasks are currently paid the highest in our system and carry large value for the advertiser. The notifications will be sent once a day to registered email on the account until the task is fulfilled or completed. For any additional questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Thank you.

Task And Campaign Email Notification Preferences

without comments

Hello,

Advertisers now have ability to turn on or off their task and campaign status change email notifications, that are automatically generated. They can do this from their main account menu by navigating to Account->Notifications. If you are running a larger campaign, it may be advisable to have these turned off, so you do not recieve constant emails from our system whenever a task or campaign status change occurs.

Our new fixed payment/payout cycle is every Friday, commencing immidately. Everyone
will be paid once a week, every Friday between 8:00AM - 6:00PM Pacific Standard Time.

New Persistent Operator Branding ( White Label ) Subsystem Now Live!

without comments

Hello,

We are proud to announce that we have launched a new operator branding subsystem. You can explore the new platform by logging into your group operator account and then clicking “Branding” option from the top navigation menu. The branding system allows you to customize Logo, Company Name and other contact information.

Once the brand has been setup to your liking you will need to copy the given <iframe…> source code into the HTML page of your website. Publisher will then see your brand and will never see any of the WideCircles information. The system is persistent and it does not rely on the cookies. Even if cookies are disabled or cleared the branding will still remain to function.

Parallel Target Build Subsystem Launched

without comments

Hello,

We are proud to say that we have revamped the old guerilla group target build system and launched a new one, which is currently running live. The old system was slow when it recieved a large number of ad tasks it needed to prepare. The new system is now building ad tasks much faster and in parallel fashion. We can now prepare large number of ad tasks in very short amount of time, so you should be seeing big increase in speed when dealing with this task group.

Please note that we have also added a new task status called “Pending - Building Targets”. This task status is set right after the “Created - Pending Analysis” task status. It means that website targets are currently being prepared for the task. You can always watch the progress of this step by logging into your account and navigating to your campaign. The number of targets is available under “Suggested” column. You can then click this link to get more details on which website targets have been assigned to this task.

Happy New Year from the WideCircles Team.

New Bulk CSV File Campaign / Task Upload Facility Added

without comments

We have just added a new feature to the advertiser portal accessible from the main home page called “Create Bulk Campaigns And Tasks ( CSV File Required )”. This feature allows you upload a CSV file which can be saved from popular software such as Microsoft Excel and which contains bulk campaign and task data. You are allowed to add 250 individual tasks or rows per each CSV file. This can greatly speed up your campaign / task creation time. You could also automate the process if you are a developer. The CSV file specification is explained in detail on the upload page and allows you to control every aspect of the task, such as linking strategy, page rank threshold, auto confirmation, keywords, posting limit and so on.

Please note that at this time we only are supporting two main groups with this facility ( guerilla and direct marketing types ). All the subgroups underneath them such as ( forum, blog, comment, guestbook, classified, press release, social bookmarking and so on ) are supported as well.

For any questions or help, please contact us directly. Our support team is available 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Auto Confirm Targets option added in advertiser portal

without comments

Hi,

We have added another internal option called “Auto Confirm Targets” to the advertiser portal, under the “Delivery And Website Targeting Options” section when creating new ad tasks of any group or type.

Please note that this option is not enabled by default and essentially allows you to skip the manual confirmation process when creating new tasks. When this option is enabled, the newly created task will go immidately into our approval and live publishing queue as soon as the website targets get acquired, so there is no need to wait for website targets to show up and then approve each task manually, unless you need to review your website targets first. This option has been implemented for all task groups ( Guerilla, Direct, Trusted And Other ) and individual task types.

Thank you.
